But what even is a diet break?
A diet break is also known as “maintenance phase.”
After 12-16 weeks of eating in a caloric deficit, it’s usually a good idea to do 1-2 weeks where you increase your intake to maintenance level.

During these weeks, you also might:
👉Add in an extra rest day
👉Use lighter weights in gym or lower intensity during workouts
👉Try to get a little more sleep
This helps your body to recover and prepare for the next phase.
