Have you ever wondered, “should I take a break from my diet?”
Maybe you’ve heard that it’s not good to diet for a long period of time,
But you’re not sure if it’s actually time for YOU to take a diet break.
There are a few signs that you should be implementing a “diet break” or a “maintenance phase.”
I go through some of them in this video:
So, if you are…
👉Finding that you’re having low levels of energy.
👉Experiencing slow digestion (ex. Only using the bathroom every 3-4 days)
👉Constantly feeling hungry
👉Never feeling hungry
👉Not making progress at the gym
👉Not seeing the scale go down no matter what you do.
👉Not gaining muscle despite pushing hard at the gym.
👉Not able to “go hard” at the gym due to a lack of energy/motivation.
It’s probably time for a break.
Especially if you related to 2-3+ of these descriptions.
Or, if you’ve been dieting for more than 16 weeks, you should probably break.
Your body will thank you.
